ICE reports challenges after Texas migrant car ramming incident
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons claimed that federal agents are facing “constant impediments” and attacks, following a video of a suspected illegal migrant in San Antonio ramming cars to evade arrest. He linked such incidents to rhetoric from elected officials encouraging obstruction of ICE operations. Lyons emphasized that organized criminal gangs are involved in impeding law enforcement and defended ICE’s actions amid calls for prosecution from local officials after a controversial shooting incident involving an agent in Minnesota. He urged focus on the dangers posed by sanctuary policies that allow criminal aliens to commit further offenses.
