Teananga Tiotia identified as missing swimmer in Waikato River

A 25-year-old man named Teananga Tiotia from Hamilton has been missing in the Waikato River for nearly three days. Police were alerted on Saturday around 3:30 PM about a swimmer struggling near Graham Island. Despite extensive search efforts over the weekend, Tiotia has not been found. Authorities have confirmed that a dive squad will return to the river to continue the search.
