Veteran actor TK Carter, known for his roles in the horror film The Thing and the sitcom Punky Brewster, has died at 69 in Duarte, California, with no foul play suspected. Born on December 18, 1956, in New York City, he began his career in stand-up comedy before gaining fame as Nauls the cook in The Thing. His film credits include Runaway Train, Ski Patrol, and Space Jam. His publicist praised him as a consummate professional whose talent and humanity inspired many.
