NASA has decided to bring home four of the seven crew members from the International Space Station after one astronaut experienced a “medical situation.” While the agency has not disclosed the identity of the affected crew member, NASA’s chief health and medical officer confirmed they are “absolutely stable.” The Crew-11 mission, which launched on August 1 and was scheduled to return around February 20, will instead have the astronauts depart in the coming days for a parachute-assisted splashdown in the Pacific Ocean off California.
