Bangladesh collaborates with ICC on T20 World Cup security in India

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has agreed to work closely with the International Cricket Council (ICC) to resolve security concerns regarding their team’s participation in the upcoming T20 World Cup in India. Following a virtual meeting with the ICC, the BCB refuted reports of an ultimatum and will continue constructive engagement to find a solution. The BCB had initially refused to travel to India due to security concerns stemming from a controversy involving one of its players in the Indian Premier League. The ongoing tensions between Bangladesh and India have also affected diplomatic relations and cricket ties between the two nations.
