Two people were killed and one injured in Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon, violating a ceasefire agreement, according to the Health Ministry. The strikes targeted the town of Kafrdounin and a building in Ghaziyeh, Sidon. These attacks coincided with reports of Israel’s preparations for a potential large-scale offensive against Hezbollah if the Lebanese government does not dismantle the group’s weapons. Since the ceasefire in November 2024, Israel has only partially withdrawn its troops from southern Lebanon.
