Among the victims were 68 Swiss and various nationals, including a 15-year-old with dual British, Israeli, and French citizenship. Authorities suspect the fire was caused by sparklers igniting the ceiling, leading to a criminal investigation into the bar’s managers for involuntary homicide and harm. All 40 deceased victims have been identified, with families providing DNA samples for some.
