Thunderstorm Watches and Rain Warnings for North Island Regions

The North Island of New Zealand is experiencing dreary summer weather, with severe thunderstorm watches issued for the region, particularly affecting Bay of Plenty, Rotorua, and the Coromandel Peninsula. Thunderstorms are already occurring, and further widespread activity is expected throughout the day, with warnings in place until 11 pm.
