Woman killed in mountain lion attack while hiking

A hiker was found dead on a remote trail in Colorado, likely the victim of a mountain lion attack, the first fatality in the area since 1999. The woman’s body was discovered by fellow hikers who reported seeing a lion nearby. Colorado Parks and Wildlife is investigating, and two lions were euthanized for public safety after being tracked down.
