Rooftop ice rink opens without ice

A group of friends felt “scammed” after visiting the Bussey Rooftop Bar in Peckham, London, where they expected to skate on a real ice rink but found only plastic tiles instead. Lupe Baeyens, who organized the outing, expressed disappointment, as the venue’s advertisements promised an ice experience. After just 20 minutes of trying to skate and realizing it was impossible, they requested a refund, which they received. Despite the letdown, Baeyens described the situation as a “good laugh.”
