A mass stabbing occurred at the Yokohama Rubber Co tire factory in Mishima, Japan, where a 38-year-old suspect attacked eight people with a knife and sprayed seven others with a bleach-like substance. The suspect, now in police custody and facing attempted murder charges, was reportedly acting alone, and no motive has been determined. Five of the victims are in serious condition but conscious.
