DOJ Discovers Over One Million Documents Related to Epstein Case

The Justice Department announced that the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York and the FBI have discovered over a million additional documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case. The review and release process for these documents may take several weeks, as lawyers are working to redact information to protect victims. This follows the recent enactment of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which mandates the release of all unclassified materials, with some exceptions. So far, the DOJ has released thousands of documents, including photos and court records, and will continue to do so on a rolling basis.
