Christmas Eve 2025 Store Hours and Open Locations

As Christmas approaches, many Americans are gearing up for last-minute shopping trips on Christmas Eve. Grocery stores like Food Lion, Stop & Shop, Trader Joe’s, Wegmans, and Whole Foods will have special hours. Drugstores like CVS and Walgreens will be open. Fast-food chains like Applebee’s, Burger King, Dunkin’, McDonald’s, and Starbucks will also be serving customers. Retailers such as Best Buy, Costco, Dollar General, Home Depot, IKEA, JCPenney, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Michaels, Petco, Target, and Walmart will have extended hours for gift shopping. The stock market will be open but will close early at 1 p.m. EDT on Christmas Eve.
