Universal Studios’ UK Theme Park Gets Approval
Universal Studios has received planning permission from Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government Steve Reed to build a major theme park in Kempston Hardwick, Bedford. The project aims to create one of the largest theme parks globally, with Universal emphasizing the UK’s need for at least two such attractions. While this development is seen as a “generational opportunity,” local opinions are mixed on its feasibility against competitors like Disneyland Paris.
