Toronto Transit Commission Reviews Refunds for Rider Delays

Toronto City Council has voted to explore a refund program for TTC riders delayed by 15 minutes or more, a proposal put forth by Councillor Brad Bradford. Although initially intended as a full money-back guarantee, the motion was amended to have the TTC Board evaluate its implementation. Bradford emphasized the need for better service delivery, citing complaints about recent delays on a new light rail line. Other cities, such as London and Philadelphia, already offer similar compensation for delays.
