Two cold cases in Kissimmee, Florida, have been resolved by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Cold Case Program. The first case involved the 2007 fatal stabbing of 17-year-old De’Andre Wellnitz, identified as self-defense after a recent investigation. The second case involved the 2022 shooting of Jommil Baez-Quinones, leading to the arrest of Luis Eluvar Gonzalez on charges of manslaughter and robbery. The Cold Case Program has solved two out of 32 remaining unsolved cases in the county.
