Egypt Rejects Separation of Gaza and West Bank

Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdel-Aty, reaffirmed Cairo’s rejection of any actions that would deepen the divide between Gaza and the West Bank or jeopardize the two-state solution during a call with UK counterpart Yvette Cooper. Abdel-Aty also shared Egypt’s vision for a transitional phase to restore Palestinian Authority governance in Gaza, emphasizing the need for an independent Palestinian state for regional stability.
