Turkey Accuses Israel of Targeting Gaza’s Palestinian Population

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan accused Israel of attempting to depopulate Gaza of its Palestinian inhabitants and emphasized the need for an international stabilisation force to prevent forced displacement. In a TVNet interview, he highlighted Turkey’s efforts to secure a ceasefire and a political resolution, while noting that the current ceasefire is fragile. Fidan stated that the international force’s main goal should be to end Israeli occupation, deliver humanitarian aid, and protect Palestinian lives. He also mentioned Israel’s reservations about Turkey’s involvement due to its criticisms during the conflict.
