At least 16 people were killed and around 42 injured when two gunmen opened fire during a Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach in Sydney. The attackers, identified as Naveed Akram and his father Sajid Akram, targeted a crowd, resulting in significant casualties, including a ten-year-old girl and a Holocaust survivor. One hero, Ahmed al Ahmed, was injured while disarming one of the suspects. The incident has been declared a terrorist attack, with Islamic State flags found in the attackers’ vehicle.
