Loic Meillard led a remarkable Swiss podium sweep in the World Cup giant slalom in Val d’Isere, France, clinching victory with a time .18 seconds ahead of Luca Aerni and Marco Odermatt, who fell short by .33 seconds from his 50th career win. Meillard improved from fifth to first, Aerni from 13th to second, and Odermatt from fourth to third, while first-run leader Stefan Brennsteiner dropped to fifth.
