Michigan Interim President Addresses Sherrone Moore’s Firing
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Michigan interim president Domenico Grasso addressed students and faculty on Dec. 11 regarding the ongoing investigation into former football coach Sherrone Moore, who was fired on Dec. 10 for engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member. Grasso emphasized the university’s zero tolerance for such conduct and encouraged anyone with information to come forward. He did not mention Moore’s subsequent detainment and arrest related to an alleged assault on the same day as his firing. Moore remains in custody and is expected to appear in court for arraignment on Dec. 12.
