Fugitive Disguises as Wise Man to Evade Police

In Galatone, southern Italy, a 38-year-old migrant from Ghana attempted to evade police by disguising himself as a figure in a Christmas nativity scene. The man, wanted for assault and resisting arrest, was initially mistaken for part of the display until Mayor Flavio Filoni noticed his movements. He was subsequently arrested and will serve the remainder of his sentence in Lecce. Local authorities commended the swift action of police in apprehending the fugitive.
