Google and Apple have issued cybersecurity warnings to users in over 150 countries, including Egypt and Saudi Arabia, after detecting hacking attempts using spyware linked to the Israeli company Intellexa. Google reported warnings sent to accounts in countries like Pakistan and Kazakhstan, while Apple notified iPhone users in more than 80 countries. Intellexa, which was sanctioned by the U.S. in 2024, is exploiting vulnerabilities to conduct these attacks.
