The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen to their practice squad just a day after his release from the Minnesota Vikings. Thielen, 35, aims for more playing time after a lackluster return to Minnesota, where he had only eight catches for 69 yards this season. The Steelers, struggling in the passing game, also recently signed Marquez Valdes-Scantling and promoted Asante Samuel Jr. while releasing six-time Pro Bowler Darius Slay, who had been inactive in recent games.
