The UK government has expressed frustration over delays in delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza, where over 1,100 tents sent by the UK arrived after more than a year. Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper highlighted the dire conditions, with 1.5 million people in urgent need of shelter as winter approaches. While the tents will provide temporary relief for 12,000 individuals, she stressed the need for unhindered access for aid and reconstruction efforts amid ongoing challenges due to the Israel-Hamas conflict. UNICEF noted that despite a ceasefire, daily life remains extremely difficult for families in Gaza, emphasizing the urgency for more aid.
