Thousands of Flight Delays and Cancellations Over Thanksgiving Weekend

Travelers across the U.S. experienced significant delays and cancellations during the busy holiday weekend due to a winter storm and software issues affecting Airbus A320 aircraft. On Sunday, there were 1,815 flight delays and 490 cancellations, particularly impacting airports in Chicago, New York City, and Detroit. The storm brought heavy snowfall, with some areas expecting up to 10 inches, while JetBlue and other airlines worked to complete mandated software updates.
