Turkiye Criticizes Israeli Strikes in Beit Jinn
On Friday, Turkiye condemned Israel’s attacks on Beit Jinn in rural Damascus, asserting that they violate Syria’s sovereignty and threaten civilian safety and regional stability. Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesman Oncu Keceli emphasized that Israel’s actions, occurring ahead of the Dec. 8 anniversary of Syrian liberation, obstruct efforts for peace and security in Syria. The strikes resulted in at least 13 fatalities, including women and children, and 24 injuries. Keceli urged the international community to intervene and halt these assaults.
