A thief in Nottingham was caught on CCTV using a ‘bizarre dance’ to distract a victim while stealing his phone. The suspect pretended to be intoxicated, greeting the victim with a fist bump before performing the dance to divert attention. Nottinghamshire Police are seeking public assistance to identify the man, who was later seen on CCTV at a nearby McDonald’s. Inspector Paul Gummer urged vigilance against such distraction thefts, especially during the festive season.
