NZ Screen Awards Guest Arrested for Trespassing

Organisers of the NZ Screen Awards are addressing a serious incident involving a male guest who became aggressive towards two female wait staff during the event, which celebrated 57 awards with 770 attendees. Police were called after the guest was initially escorted out by security but later acted aggressively outside the venue. He was arrested for breach of the peace and subsequently released without charges. The incident has marred an otherwise festive occasion.
