On November 24, 2025, Gen. Dan Caine and SEAC David L. Isom will visit Puerto Rico to meet with military personnel and express gratitude for their contributions to regional missions in the Caribbean and Latin America. This visit follows Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s earlier trip to the island in September. The U.S. military’s efforts, including Operation Southern Spear, target narco-terrorist networks amid rising tensions in the region. Recent operations have resulted in numerous strikes against drug trafficking vessels linked to terrorist organizations.
