Malcolm Marx Wins Men’s Player of the Year at 2025 Rugby Awards

South Africa’s Malcolm Marx has been awarded men’s 15s player of the year at the World Rugby Awards, marking the first time a hooker has won since 2001. The 31-year-old played a pivotal role in the Springboks’ successful year, starting 11 of 13 Tests and scoring five tries. New Zealand’s Fabian Holland, 23, was named men’s 15s breakthrough player of the year, while Chile’s Santiago Pedrero won try of the year for his score against Samoa.
