Zain Taikato Fox death: Name suppression ends for Maketū murder suspects

An alleged Mongrel Mob president is among several men charged with the murder of 20-year-old Zain Taikato Fox, who was fatally injured in an internal gang confrontation in Maketū on July 26. He succumbed to his injuries at Rotorua Hospital. Following recent High Court hearings in Hamilton, some of the 12 accused can now be identified as their interim name suppression orders have lapsed or were withdrawn.
