Paramount bids for UK Champions League broadcast rights

Paramount is in advanced negotiations to acquire Champions League TV rights in the UK and several major European markets, marking a significant investment in sports rights outside the US. The media group has emerged as the preferred bidder for the UK rights and is also pursuing deals in Spain, Germany, France, and Italy. This move follows its acquisition by Skydance and RedBird Capital earlier this year. Paramount has not commented on the situation, and UEFA has been approached for a response.
