Holli Smallman Drowns in River Severn Accident

A 15-year-old girl, Holli Smallman, tragically drowned after slipping into the River Severn while playing with friends on August 9, 2024. Despite her friends’ attempts to rescue her, she vanished in a fast-flowing area near a weir and was found hours later, pronounced dead at the scene. Her family described her as a ‘loving and caring girl’ and emphasized the importance of caution around open water.
