Fire in Zagreb Destroys Landmark Tower

A significant fire erupted in the Vjesnik tower, a landmark skyscraper in downtown Zagreb, nearly destroying the building but resulting in no casualties. The blaze began near the top of the 16-floor structure around midnight and rapidly spread, hindering the efforts of 100 firefighters.
