Bus Crash Near Medina Kills Many Indian Pilgrims

Forty-five Indian pilgrims died when their bus caught fire near Medina, Saudi Arabia, while traveling from Mecca during the Umrah pilgrimage. The sole survivor is receiving treatment in an ICU, and most victims were from Hyderabad. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences and stated that authorities are assisting families and coordinating with Saudi officials. Efforts are underway to repatriate the victims’ bodies, as relatives mourn the tragedy.
