The UK government has updated its travel advisory for British nationals in India following a deadly car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort, which resulted in 12 fatalities and numerous injuries. The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) urged citizens to remain vigilant and heed local authorities’ guidance. The advisory also continues to warn against travel within 10 km of the India-Pakistan border, except for the Wagah crossing, due to security concerns. Delhi remains on high alert as police investigate potential terror links to the incident.
