Africa’s play-off winners will enter a six-team intercontinental qualifier from 23-31 March 2026, competing for the last two spots at the World Cup. This event will include teams from Concacaf, Asia, Oceania, and South America, with the six nations divided into two brackets. The highest-ranked teams will be seeded and proceed directly to the finals, while the lower-ranked teams will face off in semi-finals. The draw for these knockout matches will take place on 20 November.
