Residents Informed Repairs on Pothole Road May Take 103 Years
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Residents of Horsham Close in Banbury, Oxfordshire, are frustrated that their road has not been resurfaced since its construction in 1983, resulting in dangerous potholes and poor conditions. Homeowners Ian and Elaine Bowyer, along with other residents, expressed their concerns to county councillor Andrew Crichton, who revealed that the average wait for road repairs is a staggering 103 years due to funding issues. Despite occasional patch jobs, residents feel that the road’s condition is neglected, with calls for it to be prioritized for maintenance. The council stated that repairs are based on road usage and budgetary constraints, leaving Horsham Close in disrepair for the foreseeable future.
