Maximum Stint Length Set for F1 Qatar GP

Formula 1 teams, the FIA, and tyre supplier Pirelli are considering implementing a maximum stint length for the upcoming Qatar Grand Prix to prevent a recurrence of the puncture issues experienced in the 2024 season. If approved, this would require teams to make at least two pit stops during the race. The high-downforce Losail track has faced tyre problems in recent years, leading to a cap of 18 laps on stint lengths in 2023. This measure aims to enhance safety and race performance.
