The Russo Brothers, known for their work on Marvel films, are set to executive produce the action prequel John Rambo, directed by Jalmari Helander and featuring a screenplay by Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani. Noah Centineo is in final talks to star in this sixth installment of the Rambo franchise, which will explore the character’s origins during the Vietnam War. Lionsgate has acquired global distribution rights and plans to begin production in Thailand in early 2026.
