Jacques Villeneuve, the 1997 world champion, criticized the notion that Yuki Tsunoda is performing better in Formula 1, claiming that Red Bull has been “overprotecting” him. Despite Tsunoda’s notable performance at the Mexico Grand Prix, where he finished just 0.211 seconds behind Max Verstappen, he remains 21-0 in their qualifying head-to-head.
