PATNA: With Bihar’s first phase of polling approaching, the INDIA bloc partners are attempting damage control by withdrawing candidates in some constituencies; however, friendly contests still exist on at least six seats. The JMM has opted out of the elections due to unresolved seat-sharing disputes, while RJD leads with 143 candidates, and Congress and Left parties have also announced their lists, highlighting ongoing tensions and discontent within the alliances.
