Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi commended the Afghanistan Cricket Board for canceling its series against Pakistan following deadly airstrikes by Pakistan that killed Afghan cricketers. Chaturvedi suggested that the BCCI and Indian government could learn from Afghanistan’s prioritization of national dignity over sports, echoing sentiments expressed by Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan regarding the tragic loss of civilian lives.
