Funeral Director Admits Providing Fake Ashes to Parents

Robert Bush, 47, the owner of Legacy Independent Funeral Directors in Hull, has pleaded guilty to 35 counts of fraud, including deceiving grieving parents with fake ashes of their unborn children. He faces trial next year for 30 counts of preventing lawful burial and theft from charities, while an investigation revealed over 2,000 families expressed concerns regarding the handling of their deceased loved ones’ remains.
