The Kimberley 9’s AFL carnival, organized by the Western Australian All Abilities Football Association (WAAAFA) in partnership with the Purple Hands Foundation and Fremantle Football Club, will take place at Cable Beach, Broome, on October 29-30, featuring a record 111 children with disabilities. WAAAFA, recently awarded the 2025 Telstra Best of Business Award for Building Communities, aims to provide inclusive football opportunities and will represent WA at the national awards in Brisbane on November 20.
