A recent study published in “Nature Plants” reveals that the Amazon’s largest trees are growing and multiplying, with a 3.3% increase per decade, attributed to rising atmospheric CO2 levels. However, despite their resilience, these trees face threats from climate change, including drought and deforestation, which could jeopardize their role as a vital carbon sink.
