The University of Toronto has placed associate professor Ruth Marshall on leave following her controversial social media post after the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, where she stated, “Shooting is honestly too good for so many of you fascist c–ts.” Despite deleting the post and claiming it referred to Kirk’s character, her comments drew significant backlash and criticism from the university and public figures.
