Tunisia joins Morocco as the second African nation to directly qualify for next year’s World Cup in North America.

Tunisia secured their spot in the FIFA World Cup 2026 by defeating Equatorial Guinea 1-0, thanks to a last-minute goal from Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane. With 22 points from eight matches, Tunisia becomes the second African team to qualify, following Morocco, and aims to improve their World Cup record of three wins from 18 matches.
