A couple in wheelchairs, Frank (77) and Jean, were detained by police during a protest in Parliament Square supporting the banned group Palestine Action, with arrests made under the terrorism act. Despite a peaceful demonstration where attendees held signs opposing genocide, police began making arrests shortly after the protest started, resulting in chants of “shame” from onlookers.
